The thing that people seem to find most interesting about me is that I ride a Harley... yep, I have a 2002 Red Harley Davidson "Fat Boy". I'm from a big family, the oldest of 9 kids with 6 brothers, yet I'm the only one of my siblings with a Motorcycle endorsement on my Drivers License. I consider myself a novice. It's something I started after my sons became adults. It has changed my life! I ride with the Santa Cruz HOGs (Harley Owners Group). We do a variety of fund raising activities for the community, especially Valley Churches United in San Lorenzo Valley, and we have a great time doing it! Many of my clients are folks I've met in the club so it's been great for my business. These friends know that I look out for their best interests, the way I like to look out for all my clients.
I've been selling Real Estate for almost 20 years. Before that, I spent 15 years working in Silicon Valley for various High Tech firms, including Tandem, Unisys and Convergent Technologies, as a Contracts Negotiator, a skill that serves me well in Real Estate. I also worked at San Jose State administering federal research projects as a Contracts and Grants Manager. My degree in Accounting is from San Jose State University.
During my career in Real Estate:
- I've sold hundreds of properties including homes, condominiums, and land in 6 counties around the San Francisco Bay, primarily Santa Cruz, North Monterey County and Silicon Valley
- 18 year membership with Santa Cruz Association of Realtors
- 8 years associate broker with a local mortgage broker handling purchase and refinance loans
- 6 years as a real estate broker/owner of Network Alliance Valley Office
- BS, Accounting, San Jose State University
- Past treasurer for condominium home owners association
- Extensive experience with buying and selling distressed properties including major fixer's, short sales and foreclosures in all phases. (I live in a house that I bought at the foreclosure auction on the courthouse steps.)
