   I believe buying a new home or selling your current home is a major life event. It’s not only one of the largest financial decisions any of us make, it’s also a pivotal decision for our lifestyle and “quality of life.” We all want to “get it right”---personally and financially. Having been a corporate gypsy with kids for part of my life (buying/selling 8 homes in 4 states), I understand the importance of making good choices, including choosing the right realtor.

   My focus, as your realtor, will be to focus on your needs and help you realize them. To do so requires that we collaborate, communicate and commit. You can be sure that I will apply my market and community knowledge, life experience and business background to make your purchase or sale successful and “right” for you.  As for me, I would like to be sure that my experience and time are being spent for a committed and loyal client.

   As we both know, the local real estate market can be daunting:

   For sellers, while the inventory of homes is low by historical norms, there is still ample competition. Proper preparation of your home and realistic pricing are essential to make your home the one that sells quickly vs. 45 days or more (which typically means at a lower price). Marketing can be important, but a well prepared, well presented, accurately priced home has much greater market impact than any amount of newspaper ads or color brochures.  A good realtor understands this and provides strong guidance and support in preparing your home for its “market launch.”

   For buyers, we remain in a time of multiple offer competition for the most desirable homes. Readiness for quick and decisive action including prior financial approval by a proven lender is essential to success in these multiple offer situations.  Equally important is your realtor’s personal commitment to you.  His "agency" means understanding of your needs, preferences and budget so he can give you that early alert that says “this may be the one you need to act on now.”
