     Truly, words aren’t enough to express our appreciation and gratitude for everything you two and Margie did for us in finding us the perfect new home and selling our old one under very tough circumstances. The process could, of course, have been unbelievably daunting at nearly every turn given the environment and our very narrow definition of the new home that would be worth giving up Indian Valley. But we were both struck repeatedly by your patience with us and our process, your keen appreciation of our personal needs, (or simply what would make things easier for us), and your flexibility, persistence and demonstrated commitment to going the extra mile for your clients all the time. Nothing in the tortured process seemed to faze any of you.

     We always felt we were in good hands, that we could trust you to do or recommend the right thing, and that ultimately we would get the right new house for us and find the right buyers for the old one. Given the circumstances, it’s pretty clear that, without your extraordinary help, direction and just hard work, we could still be engaged in the process of changing homes with no end in sight. But instead, we love our new house! It’s truly the perfect place for our family and the one in which we will grow old (or older) in. The kids love it too.

      The Stewart team is outstanding in every way, and my experience working with all of you in the sale of my home has been wonderful.

     Each member of the team is extremely competent in his or her areas of expertise and works together with the others in a perfectly coordinated and orchestrated manner. No detail was overlooked, and there were many unexpected treats, such a Spencer delivering dinner after everything had been packed in the moving trucks.

     After my initial meeting with Nancy, Bill and Sean, I knew I’d found like-minded people I could trust. Their honesty and integrity is inspiring. They have a superior knowledge of real estate and the current market. I was confident I would be well represented.

     Nancy was indispensable in keeping me moving forward while getting my home ready for sale. She was always available and checked in with me frequently to see if I needed any help and recommended people when I did. Nancy has a marvelous eye as a decorator and easily saw the best ways to use furniture and accessories to stage my home to show it at its best. She was able to quickly tell me what to move, add or eliminate to create an appealing environment that was attractive to potential buyers. Nancy is a jewel. She and Bill work together beautifully.

     Margie Bousquet is officially known as the Transaction Coordinator, but she soon became a dear friend. I enjoyed stopping by the office because I knew I’d be greeted with a smile and a hug. Margie is the most efficient organizer and a calming influence. It was such a help to have Margie schedule all of the appointments for inspections and workers. If I were stressed, she would be there to reassure me. In addition to doing all this, Margie coordinated the signing of the many documents and made it appear effortless. She even made sure I got address labels with my new address on them before I moved.

     With the support and dedicated hard work of all of you on the Stewart Team - a team of the finest players - a major life change was made possible for me. It was a large undertaking, but it was easy to trust you and let you do all the hard work.

     With over 30 years in our home, we were novices when it came to selling our property. Whom do we select s our agent? I have many acquaintances in the real estate business. I heard good reports on “Bill Stewart”, although I had never met you. I called you first, and after our interview, you were the obvious choice.

     Being a football official in the NFL, I am used to making “good calls”, and this was one of my best ever! The Stewart Team provided outstanding support every step of the way. Nancy “staged” our home to make it more saleable. Margie coordinated the inspections, open houses, brokers open, and was always at the phone to answer our questions and hold our hands throughout the process. Phone calls and questions were promptly answered.

     The “MVP” of the entire game (our whole season) was Bill Stewart. We hit a major snag when our pest control company failed to see a termite problem that was picked up by the buyer’s pest control company. Bill got involved and made our company remedy the oversight to our complete satisfaction. This could have lost the game for us, but Bill Stewart picked up the ball and made seller, buyer, and inspection company all go for the same goal. While we were full of stress and anxiety, Bill stayed cool and made the sale work to our satisfaction.

          We apologize for the delay in getting a note of thanks to you. Time just seems to fly when you are selling, buying and moving and juggling young ones to boot.

     Nancy, you were always available for questions and advice and provided a calm reassuring voice no matter what my concern. My mother is a lucky woman to have a friend like you in her corner.

     Bill, your expert advice in working with Sean on how to create the most appealing offer in a multi-offer situation won us the house we plan to live in for the rest of our lives, or at least until the kids move out 18 or 20 years from now. You made sure that we were not exposed in any way and that we got the house we wanted without paying too much or taking on too much burden. You made a tremendous difference in creating a very smooth transaction for us!

     Sean, Sean, Sean, we cannot say enough about our experience in working with you. You covered all the basics of course, with quick responses to questions/messages, etc., but far beyond that, you were always upbeat, easy to communicate with and willing to drive back and forth across Marin/Sonoma County line at all hours of the evenings and weekends. You even went so far as to play catch with our young son so that we could explore a house without interruption.
