Within central San Jose, situated along part of Highway 880 and near to downtown, you will find some of the finest housing the City has to offer. This neighborhood is known as Rose Garden, named for the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden which is lovingly maintained with rolling green lawns and colorful showy blooms. A close-knit community, Rose Garden had its own volunteer neighborhood organization, the Rose Garden Neighborhood Preservation Association, whose goal is to represent the interests of the residents of Rose Garden, and assist with the upkeep, restoration, preservation and beautification of the neighborhood. And the efforts of the RGNPA have not been in vain, for within Rose Garden you will find an attractive and charismatic neighborhood offering a great variety of homes, including Queen Annes and Tudors.

Rose Garden residents have access to the Rosegarden Library, the neighborhood's own branch of the San Jose Library system, schools in the immediate area (which are equally as active in the community as the adults), new commercial developments ( which will offer more shops and restaurants), parks such as the Municipal Rose Garden and Rosicrucian Park, and even the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum which features one of the largest collections of Egyptian, Babylonian and Assyrian antiquities on display in the U.S.  From Rose Garden, residents will find themselves close to many ornaments of San Jose city life including restaurants, the arena, more museums, night life, a Farmers' Market, San Jose State University, as well as close to Highways leading throughout the remainder of the city and into the rest of the Bay Area.
