After living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area for 18 years, Chris Babalis moved her family to Carmel to dedicate herself to a career in real estate, a field for which she has long harbored a passion. With thirty years of experience as a marketing professional working for blue chip companies in both New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, Chris is excited to bring a wealth of valuable skills to her real estate clients including marketing expertise, negotiating savvy, and a facility for market analysis.
Chris attended both college and business school in New York City. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School and a BA in Art History from Barnard College. After graduating from Columbia, she started her career with American Express. Chris continued to expand and hone her marketing and project management skills at MasterCard, Sotheby's and the New York Times before moving out West to further her career as a marketing consultant. As such, Chris learned the valuable skills of listening carefully to client needs, translating those needs into creative solutions and delivering top quality client service.
She is a well-respected professional who is known for her integrity, flexibility, resourcefulness, creative thinking and attention to detail. Chris values being very organized and making the process of buying or selling a home as seamless and efficient as possible, always with the goal of surpassing the expectations of her clients. Her professionalism and easy-going, unflappable personality are assets in managing the multifaceted aspects of the home buying and selling process. As a steward of the tradition of Alain Pinel Realtors®, Chris continues to demonstrate a dedication to excellence, integrity and thoughtfulness in her transactions.
In her spare time, Chris enjoys traveling anywhere on the planet, yoga, hiking, sculling, and hanging out with her animal menagerie at home. She also loves learning and challenging herself; and to that end, Chris takes science classes for fun. She also supports a number of animal welfare and wildlife conservation organizations.
