Hope was raised on the East Coast in both New York and Florida. She attended the University of Florida before moving with her husband to California in 1973. They have been married 40 years and have raised two beautiful daughters. She has been involved with the local school districts and activities such as soccer, showing Arabian horses, local charities and regional musical theater. In 2007, she became a first time grandmother.
