Karyn O'Mohundro was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she received her Business Degree from DePaul University. After graduation she worked for the International Department of Sears, Roebuck and Company for several years.
After moving to California in the early 70's, Karyn began practicing Real Estate and soon after obtained her Broker's License. She has sold property in San Francisco, the South Bay and has specialized in Marin County for over 30 years.
During Karyn's Real Estate career she has managed two independent Real Estate companies, was Managing Broker for an upstart high-tech Real Estate company, has been a member of a Real Estate Luxury Homes Division, and has served on the Board of Realtors Political Action Committee, the Board of Directors for the Marin Association of Realtors for 2004-2005 along with co-chairing The Education Committee.
Karyn feels there is no knowledge like experience. Her business expertise has made her clients' home-buying experiences seamless through her thorough attention to details and her counseling and guidance abilities. Karyn's strengths and successes are achieved through her intuitive approach to marketing and her outstanding negotiating abilities that surpass her client's needs. Her motto is "When Experience Counts" and that she has lots of; with listing and selling through the many real estate market cycles she has experienced throughout the years.
Karyn has lived in Marin County for over 30 years during which time she raised her two daughters, was active in several of the school districts, and recently an active volunteer for the Marin Cancer Project. Her daughters now live in San Francisco and San Rafael respectively and are both in the high-tech industry. With the arrival of a new puppy into the O'Mohundro household, Karyn gets to explore the many wonderful hiking trails Marin has to offer. | |
