Should real estate be high tech or high touch?

We hear a lot of talk today about how technology is changing the way that buying and selling real estate is done.  This is most certainly true but in my business and my relationships with my clients, I never want to lose the personal touch that is so necessary while still embracing high tech.  Yes, you can have both high tech and high touch. 
 
High Touch:
I prefer to offer my clients "high touch" or a "personal touch" when they are making a decision on what is likely to be their most important financial asset and also the place they spend the majority of their time.  They should have lots of information and advice and be able to take all the time they need to make a decision.  This is not a process that should be measures in seconds or minutes but in whether they feel they are satisfied they made the right decision and will feel good about it next week, next month and next year. 
 
High Tech:
I also love to take advantage of all of the latest tools and technology to give my clients a competitive edge in the super competitive real estate market. I constantly monitor our MLS with updated client driven search criteria for new listings allowing my clients to be one of the first to see it and make an offer on it.
