El Granada is located minutes north of downtown Half Moon Bay and is a thriving beach and fishing community. Home to the world class surf break "Mavericks" this community attracts thousands of surf watchers once a year for the Annual Big Wave Surf Championship. It is also a great area on the coast for food and to buy local fish right of the docks. There is an airport for smaller aircraft and its harbor accommodates plenty of fishing and rec boats.
The community of El Granada is separated into four areas: The Highlands, Lower El Granada, Princeton Harbor, and Clipper Ridge. Styles of homes range anywhere from small ranchers, traditional floor plans, cottages, or contemporary masterpieces.
